You can use AND Communicator without any integration to other components in your network. In this setup AND Communicator is used as softphone and acts as SIP client.
AND Communicator to IP phone
In this case AND Communicator is used to control your IP phone from your desktop PC. Additionally to the controlling function of your IP phone it can be used as softphone.
AND Communicator to Unified CallManager
This scenario uses the WebDialer service of the Unified CallManager which allows you to control various phones in your unified communications network. Additionally to the controlling function it can be used as softphone.
AND Communicator to AND Phone Application Server
The most powerful integration of AND Communicator is achieved by working in conjunction with the AND Phone Application Server. In this case the client can control IP phones and act as Softphone as well. Through the integration with the AND Phone Application Server it is possible to incorporate additional services like centralized management, voice recording, directory integration, presence services, manager/assistant functions and many more.
