Integrating DECT into IP communication environments allows using the functionality of DECT, like long reach and minimal power consumption, in combination with the unified communications infrastructure.
The DECT system is connected through a DECT Wireless Server with the IPC network and interacts with the AND Phone Application Server (APAS) to realize additional features like reverse number lookup or advanced directory search capabilities.
Integrated Features
Using the DECT integration enables your communications system to deliver AND Phone Directory service to DECT handsets. The supported features are:
- Searching in company directories or databases on the handset
- Automatic reverse number lookup on the handset
