AXL Directory AND Phone Directory Integration with Communications Manager 5.x und 6.x.

AND Phone Directory integrates various directories and databases into your unified communications network and uses this information to offer advanced phone books, searchable customer databases and reverse phone number lookup for IP phones and desktop PCs. Multiple connections to different sources of information can be handled by the AND Phone Application Server (APAS) and be delivered to IP phones or desktop PCs.

While the CallManager 4.x used LDAP to store user information and personal address books there was a new database introduced in CCM 5.x and 6.x to store this information. Using an AXL connection to the Communications Manager enables yout to have full access to user entries and personal address books.

Additionally you can use AND Directory in combination with AND Communicator and deliver all this information on your PC.
